1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the M2SoftTech website located at m2softtech.com (the "Site"), including any content, features, tutorials, guides, newsletters, or other services made available through the Site (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the Site.

If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and M2SoftTech ("we," "us," or "our").

You represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to refuse access to the Services to anyone at any time for any reason.

M2SoftTech is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. All product names, trademarks, and registered trademarks mentioned on this Site are the property of their respective owners, including Apple Inc. References to Apple products, software, or services are for informational and educational purposes only.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services or any portion thereof at any time without notice and without liability to you. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Services without notice.

3. Intellectual Property & Copyright

Unless otherwise indicated, all content published on this Site — including but not limited to text, articles, guides, tutorials, blog posts, images, graphics, logos, icons, illustrations, screenshots, and the overall look and feel of the Site — is the exclusive intellectual property of M2SoftTech or its respective content creators and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, transmit, publicly display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any content from this Site without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted under these Terms or by applicable law (such as fair use provisions).

Fair Use: Brief quotations from our articles for the purpose of commentary, criticism, news reporting, teaching, or research may be permissible under applicable fair use or fair dealing doctrines, provided appropriate credit is given to M2SoftTech and a link to the original article is included. Wholesale copying or reproduction of entire articles is strictly prohibited.

If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to legal@m2softtech.com with (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Site, (c) your contact information, and (d) a statement of good faith belief and accuracy under penalty of perjury.

4. Code Samples & Tutorial License

M2SoftTech publishes a significant volume of iOS and macOS development tutorials, including sample code written in Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, shell scripts, and related formats ("Code Samples"). Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the relevant tutorial or article, Code Samples published on M2SoftTech are provided under the following terms:

Personal and Educational Use: You are granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to use, copy, and adapt Code Samples for personal learning, educational projects, and open-source projects, provided that you do not hold M2SoftTech liable for any outcomes arising from such use.

Commercial Use: You may incorporate Code Samples into commercial applications, provided that such use does not constitute a verbatim reproduction of substantial portions of our tutorial content as a standalone product (e.g., a paid course or e-book that reproduces our tutorials). Attribution to M2SoftTech is appreciated but not required for code-only use.

No Warranty on Code: All Code Samples are provided "as is" for illustrative purposes only. Apple's APIs, frameworks, SDKs (including SwiftUI, Xcode, and related tools), and developer guidelines change frequently. We do not warrant that any Code Sample is current, error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any code before deploying it in a production environment. Always consult the official Apple Developer Documentation for authoritative guidance.

5. Permitted Use & Prohibited Conduct

  • Reproducing, mirroring, or republishing our articles or tutorials in full on third-party websites, newsletters, or platforms without permission
  • Using our content to train machine learning or artificial intelligence models without express written authorization
  • Framing or deep-linking to the Site in a way that misrepresents the source or misleads users about the origin of the content
  • Impersonating M2SoftTech, its staff, or any other person or entity
  • Transmitting spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content through any comment systems or contact forms on the Site
  • Engaging in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other user's use or enjoyment of the Site
  • Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate or restrict access to the Site for any user who violates these Terms or engages in conduct we determine to be harmful to the Site, its users, or the broader community.

  • The User Content is not defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise unlawful
  • The User Content does not contain malware, viruses, or malicious code

By submitting User Content, you grant M2SoftTech a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute the User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Site. You retain ownership of your User Content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, SERVICES, AND MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Always verify critical information with official Apple documentation, Apple Support, or a qualified professional. Reliance on any content on the Site is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL M2SOFTTECH, ITS OWNERS, EDITORS, CONTRIBUTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

You access Third-Party Links at your own risk. We strongly encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

10. Newsletter & Communications

M2SoftTech may offer an email newsletter and other periodic communications covering Apple news, tutorial updates, iOS development tips, and new content published on the Site. By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive such communications from us.

We will send you commercial and promotional emails only with your express consent, in accordance with applicable anti-spam laws including the CAN-SPAM Act and GDPR where applicable. Each marketing email we send will include a clear and functional unsubscribe mechanism. We reserve the right, at our expense, to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claim.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable under local law.

Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting us at legal@m2softtech.com.
